This year’s gala is set to be extraordinary, with the renowned Diana Hayden, an Indian actress, model, and Miss World 1997 winner, gracing us as the Chief Guest. She is the third Indian woman to hold the Miss World crown and has joined the journey with HC4A.

Kannan Kaliyur: A Visionary Entrepreneur and Philanthropist
Kannan Kaliyur, CEO of Connect Tech + Talent, is a seasoned entrepreneur with a start in 1996. Being the active chair of TiE Austin and contributing greatly to the Greater Austin Asian Chamber of Commerce, he also builds communities. His generosity can be seen in his role as chair of the Austin Community College Foundation, where he passionately raises funds for scholarships and supports educational equity.
Alyssia Palacios-Woods: Championing Diversity and Inclusion
Alyssia Palacios-Woods, a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), has spent over a decade supporting efforts to create jobs in Central Texas. As the former President and CEO of the Austin Young Chamber, she stood for equality, fairness, and diversity. Alyssia’s dedication involves serving The New Philanthropist and the Regional Advisory Council for Austin Community College.
Michael Lofton: A Visionary for Change
Michael Lofton, a TV talk show host for two decades, has won several community service awards and played a major part as an appointed commissioner with the City of Austin. In an effort to “Change the Story” for African-American boys who are disproportionately impacted by suspension or expulsion from public schools, he established the African-American Youth Harvest Foundation.
